Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support inbound/outbound activities in a distribution environment. You will assist with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, use of WMS, and cooperation with team leads. Qualified candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work overtime, and operate warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner/voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Follow direction and adapt priorities in a team or independent setting.
• Fast-paced warehouse environment with hourly performance standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn equipment operation and rotate areas.
• Adhere to safety regs and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building/wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and prepping orders for shipment.
• Pick large case items with equipment or small unit items onto designated cart.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects.
• Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and conduct housekeeping.
• Handle routine tasks with potential problem resolution.
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.
• Comply with OSHA and Cardinal Health policies and procedures.
