Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead for a weekend 4th shift (Friday–Sunday, 7:30am–8:00pm) in Matteson, IL. You will coordinate daily warehouse operations, coach staff, and support safety, quality and productivity goals in a fast-paced distribution setting.

The role requires at least three years of warehouse experience, strong leadership, and forklift/equipment handling skills. Base hourly wage plus shift differential applies, with incentives not included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years related warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse practices, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to operate forklift equipment, including electric pallet jack.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow on the warehouse floor.
• Provide real-time problem solving and scheduling support.
• Coach and train employees on procedures and safety practices.
• Lead safety audits and PPE compliance.
