Job summary

NOW Foods is seeking a Warehouse Lead I for the Bloomingdale, IL site on a weekend evening shift. The role involves supervising warehouse activities, ensuring on-time delivery, and coordinating with supervisors to optimize material flow and safety.

The ideal candidate has prior team leadership, forklift operation experience, and a strong understanding of warehouse processes in a manufacturing setting. The position is full-time and on-site at the Bloomingdale facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year related experience or equivalent.
• Prior team leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience operating Turret trucks, Dock Stockers, Powered Pallet Jacks and other raised platform vehicles.
• Experience in warehousing/manufacturing environment, preferably food or pharmaceuticals.
• Lean principles and continuous improvement knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse areas, ensure efficient receiving and shipping operations.
• Monitor shift performance and drive safety, quality and efficiency goals.
• Mentor and train team members, enforce SOPs and company policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Develop procedures and work instructions; ensure accurate paperwork and reporting.
