Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time; communicate with customers as required.
• Schedule inbound freight to meet warehouse operations and capacity; inspect and receive inbound freight; generate activity reports; perform yard checks.
• Schedule outbound freight to meet warehouse operations and capacity; inspect and ship outbound freight; generate activity reports; seal containers and doors; perform yard checks.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping/receiving documents; enter data into systems; verify counts against packing lists and purchase orders; resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure inbound pallets are accurate and undamaged; ensure pallet paperwork; report quality variances; coordinate with carriers for on-time arrivals.
• Ensure outbound pallets are accurate and undamaged; verify pallet paperwork; report variances; coordinate with carriers for on-time shipments.
• Maintain inventory records and security; assist in physical inventories.
• Keep a clean, safe work area; comply with OHSA standards; coordinate with other departments.
