Job summary

L’Oréal Walton Operations is seeking a Clerk to support physical flows in our Walton, KY distribution center. The role ensures receiving documents are accurate, schedules inbound/outbound freight, maintains records, and supports inventory control with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The weekend days shift Fri-Sun 6:00am-6:00pm requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of warehouse experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office to manage reports and data entry.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse / manufacturing environment.
• Efficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound freight to comply with warehouse operations and capacities; inspect and receive all inbound freight; issue daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports; perform daily yard checks; communicate missed receipts and reasons.
• Schedule outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations and capacities; inspect and ship all outbound freight; issue daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports; seal loaded containers and truck doors; perform daily yard checks; communicate missed shipments and reasons.
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping/receiving documents; gather and maintain data; enter data into systems; ensure receiving counts match packing lists and purchase orders; assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain inbound pallets accuracy and pallet paperwork; report quality variances; coordinate with carriers to ensure timely arrival.
• Maintain outbound pallets documentation; report variances; coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time shipping.
• Keep records to ensure inventory control and security; assist in physical inventories.
• Maintain clean, safe work area; comply with OHSA; coordinate with departments.
