Job summary

Capitol Distributing in Caldwell, Idaho is seeking a Warehouse Order Selector to pick stock for customer orders using scanners and to prepare items for shipping. You will place products in totes, follow safety rules, and communicate with leads to ensure efficient fulfillment.

The role runs on a swing schedule, 4 days per week, 10–12 hour shifts with occasional overtime. Benefits include bonuses, health coverage after 60 days, a 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement.

$18 per hour Standard + bonuses

$20 per hour Freezer + bonuses

Job Responsibilities:

• The Order Selector is responsible for picking various stock to fill customer orders.
• Use scanning devices to pick product and fulfill customer orders.
• Places product in totes and packages items correctly.
• Places items on sorting belt/rollers for Loaders.
• Follows safety rules for warehouse when picking an order.
• Regularly communicates with Leads and Supervisors for efficiency.

Schedule:

Order Selectors work 4 days per week on a Swing Shift (afternoon to night). Shifts will be 10 to 12 hours in duration. Employees will receive 3 consistent days off per week. This is full time position with occasional overtime.

Working Conditions:

Capitol has Ambient Order Selectors and Freezer Order Selectors. Individuals working in freezer conditions will be provided adequate cold gear and receive additional hourly differentials. This role is very fast-paced and requires a significant amount of movement to meet order demands. Individuals in this position should expect to move throughout aisles stocked with product. The position will require general physical movements such as walking, standing, lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching. Individuals will also be expected to follow and understand basic instructions/policies.
