Capitol Distributing in Caldwell, Idaho is seeking a Fulfillment Clerk to join our warehouse team. You will use handheld scanners to pick products, prepare orders, and ensure items are packaged and staged for shipment.

This fast-paced role offers on-site work, safety-focused tasks, and opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive team. We offer full-time swing shifts, 10+ hours per shift, four days a week with one weekend day required.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred; training available.
• Ability to lift and move products, including 50+ lbs.
• Experience using electronic scanners to locate items.
• Overtime may be required to meet order demand.

Responsibilities

• Pick products to fill customer orders accurately.
• Use scanning devices to locate and fulfill orders.
• Place items in totes and prepare packages for shipment.
• Sort totes/full cases for loading clerks on the belt.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour + bonuses.

Join our warehouse team and play a key role in keeping customer orders moving! As a Fulfillment Clerk, you'll use handheld scanning technology to accurately pick products, prepare orders, and ensure items are packaged and staged for shipment. This is a fast-paced, active position that keeps you on the move throughout the day while working alongside a supportive team committed to safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Schedule: Full-time swing shifts 4 days a week (afternoon to night) with 1 weekend day required. Shifts will be 10+ hours in duration.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for picking various stocks to fill customer orders.
• Use scanning devices to pick products and fulfill customer orders.
• Place products in totes and packages items correctly.
• Place Totes/Full case items on sorting belt/rollers for Loading Clerks.
• Follow safety rules for warehouses.
• Regularly communicates with Coworkers, Leads, and Supervisors for efficiency.
• Perform other duties and work in other areas as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience of working in a warehouse a plus.
• Ability to lift and move products.
• Ability to use an electronic scanner to pick and locate items.
• Occasional overtime to meet order demands.

Capitol Distributing is the largest convenience wholesale distributor in Idaho. Founded in 1983, Capitol delivers to retailers across the Western United States from its 300,000 square foot distribution center in Caldwell, Idaho.

Working Conditions:

Capitol has Ambient Fulfillment Clerks, Refrigerated Fulfillment Clerks, and Freezer Fulfillment Clerks. Individuals working in freezer conditions will be provided with adequate cold gear and receive additional hourly differentials. Fulfillment Clerks in the Refrigerated section will be provided with gloves and PPE. This role is very fast-paced and requires a significant amount of movement to meet order demands. Individuals in this position should expect to move throughout modules stocked with product. The position will require general physical movements such as frequently reaching in all directions, walking, standing, bending, twisting, and occasionally lifting 50+Lbs. Individuals will also be expected to follow and understand basic instructions/policies. Employees will receive 3 days off per week.
