Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of professional veterinary technician experience.
- Proficiency in safe restraint techniques and low-stress handling.
- Experience with radiographic positioning and diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Ability to administer anesthesia and monitor during procedures.
- Strong client communication and medical record management.
- Knowledge of preventative care and hospital operations.
Responsibilities
- Mandatory Saturday and Sunday starting at 8:30 am.
- Perform safe animal restraint and low-stress handling.
- Triaging incoming patients and assessing medical needs.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze laboratory samples.
- Assist with diagnostic imaging and ultrasound positioning.
- Prepare surgical sites and assist in surgeries.
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with clients.
