Job summary

MU Health Care in Jefferson City is seeking a Unit Clerk for the Progressive Care Unit at Capital Region Medical Center. This weekend days role is on-site, 3x12 hour shifts (Friday–Sunday).

You will greet patients and visitors, coordinate unit activities, transcribe orders, manage calls and scheduling, and support staff with a patient-centered approach. High school diploma required; prior guest-relations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate unit activities and respond to call lights with courtesy.

• Transcribe and process physician orders; answer phones and take messages.
• Manage unit supplies, forms, and inventory; assist admissions/discharges.
