Allstate Security in Modesto is seeking a Weekend Unarmed Security Officer to provide a professional security presence in a retail environment. You will patrol, monitor entrances and parking areas, and report incidents to management.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, situational awareness, and clear reporting. The position requires a valid BSIS Guard Card and the ability to stay calm under pressure while assisting customers and staff during shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 1400

• Watch for safety concerns, suspicious activity, and theft; report observations promptly to store management and company supervision.
• Write clear Daily Activity Reports and incident reports, and assist emergency responders with factual information when needed.
• Support store staff and customers while following site instructions and maintaining professional boundaries.

Pay, Location & Schedule

• Saturday and Sunday, 1400–2200
• Pay: $22/hour

What You’ll Bring — Required

Preferred Experience

• Experience in event, hospitality, military, or bouncer/security roles involving customer interaction and de-escalation.

Site Safety Standards

• This is an observe-and-report position. Report suspected theft immediately and avoid confrontation.
• Do not detain, question, touch, or pursue suspected shoplifters, or request receipts or personal belongings.
• Report emergencies to management and local authorities as directed.
• Treat everyone respectfully and impartially; profiling and discriminatory conduct are not permitted.

Professional Expectations

• Arrive on time, in full uniform, with your required equipment: charged phone, notepad, pen, ID, and BSIS license.
• Stay alert and focused. Avoid personal phone use, eating, smoking, and unnecessary conversation while on duty.
• Follow company policies, applicable requirements, and client post instructions.
