Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Triage Clinician to join our Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) team in Milford, MA. This weekend shift role focuses on crisis assessment, triage, and coordination within a multidisciplinary group to promote safety and timely intervention.

The MCI program operates 24/7/365 and offers opportunities to provide direct clinical interventions both on-site and in the community, supporting families and individuals through stabilization and referrals as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related clinical field.
• Two years’ experience in mental health preferred.
• Experience with children, adolescents and families preferred.
• Knowledge of substance use and co-occurring disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for the MCI program.
• Provide telephonic crisis support, screening, triage, and coordination.
• Secure placements in detox units, inpatient units and diversionary levels of care and coordinate transfers.
• Provide direct clinical intervention services (including evaluation, stabilization, referral and follow-up) on-site and in the community as needed.
