Riverside Community Care in Milford, MA is seeking a Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) Clinician, a Master’s level professional who will join our Community Behavioral Health Center’s Mobile Crisis Intervention program. The MCI provides crisis intervention services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, either on-site or mobile, to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges.

The MCI clinician works as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, stabilize, and support clients

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related human services field.
• Two years’ mental health experience preferred, including internship experience.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families preferred for mobile crisis work.
• Knowledge of substance use and co-occurring disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform telephone triage and in-person crisis assessment.
• Provide intervention, stabilization, referral, and follow-ups on-site and in the community.
• Coordinate care between the MCI team and community providers for continuity.
• Document evaluations and complete MCI reports during shifts.
• Participate in clinical supervision and licensure track hours when eligible.

Overview

Riverside Community Care seeks a Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) Clinician, a Master’s level clinician who will join our Community Behavioral Health Center’s Mobile Crisis Intervention program. The MCI provides crisis intervention services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, either on‑site or mobile, to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. The MCI clinician works as part of a multidisciplinary team—physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, certified peer specialists, and recovery coaches—to assess, stabilize, and support clients during crises.

Responsibilities

• Perform telephone triage and in‑person crisis assessment.
• Provide intervention, stabilization, referral, and follow‑up for clients on-site and in the community.
• Coordinate care as liaison between the MCI team and community providers for continuity of care.
• Document evaluations and complete MCI reports during shift.
• Participate in clinical supervision and licensure track hours when eligible.

Salary & Schedule

Pay Rate: $22.53 per hour. Relief shifts available with flexible scheduling, including 10–12 hour shifts. Additional monetary incentives are earned for completing MCI evaluations during the shift.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for limited local travel.

Required Experience

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related human services field.
• Two years’ experience in mental health preferred, including internship experience.
• At least one year of experience working with children, adolescents, and families is preferred for providing mobile crisis intervention services to individuals under 21.
• Knowledge of substance use and co‑occurring disorders preferred.
