Job summary

Stoughton Trailers in Wisconsin is seeking an Assembly I to support trailer production on a first shift with regular overtime. You will join a safety‑driven team and perform hands‑on assembly tasks across multiple stages.

No formal education is required; training will be provided. You will read blueprints, use a variety of tools, maintain quality, and contribute to line flow to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, tape measures and basic work instructions.
• Basic math including measurements and fractions.
• Willingness to learn new tasks, tools and processes.
• Communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and accountability for quality of work.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly across various stages of the trailer building process.
• Operate hand and power tools as required for assembly and finishing.
• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning components and applying solvents.
• Apply caulk to seams and joints to meet seal and quality standards.
• Position and fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets and fasteners.
• Read layouts and blueprints to ensure correct alignment and spacing.
