Colonial Group is seeking a dependable Class B Welder for a weekend TIG and MIG production welding role in Strafford, Missouri. The successful candidate will read blueprints, interpret part lists, and apply high standards of craftsmanship with a focus on safety and attendance.

The position offers a Saturday–Monday shift from 5:30am to 5:30pm, with a pay range of $22–$24 per hour plus a 20% shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months MIG welding experience or Trade School training.
• TIG welding experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Reliable and dependable attendance is required.
• Ability to problem‑solve and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding to production standards.
• Tack weld efficiently; grind when required.
• Work across multiple welding positions, including welding, tacking, stud, and bung welds.
• Read and interpret blueprints and part lists.
• Accurately measure using a tape measure.
• Safely operate shop tools and equipment.
• Follow all PPE and safety requirements.
• Stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
