Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking a weekend shift Welder in Vadnais Heights, MN. The role involves joining and fabricating metal components using MIG and TIG welding, reading blueprints, setting up equipment, and inspecting welds to ensure quality and safety.

We require 1+ years of TIG/MIG/Tack-weld experience, a High School diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Lake Air offers competitive pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of experience in TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld (hand laser welding preferred).
• Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications.
• Observe tests on welded surfaces and check dimensional tolerances.
• Develop templates or tooling to hold and align parts.
• Determine equipment and welding methods using metallurgy knowledge.
• Inspect finished products and spare parts against samples.
