Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical degree or diploma in Surgical Technology is required.
• Associates degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
• 1-3 years of Surgical Tech experience required.
• BLS certification and CST credential required; TS-C preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties to assist physician during surgical procedures.
• Hands instruments and supplies to the surgeon as needed.
• Assists the circulator in room preparation based on the physician’s preference card.
• Performs surgical counts following policy and procedure guidelines.
• Prepares sutures and dressings for surgeon use.
• Maintains a sterile field for surgical services.
• Demonstrates professional work behavior and excellent customer service.
