Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Weekend Supply Inventory Supervisor to lead on-site supply chain operations for Saturday and Sunday, 7am–7pm, ensuring timely processing, receiving, and inventory control.

You will oversee staff, coordinate with the Director of Supply Chain Operations, maintain Min/Max levels, review safety stock, and drive continuous improvements in storeroom efficiency.

Qualifications

• Three to five years' material management experience (Required for Supervisor roles).
• OR Experience (Preferred).
• HS Diploma or GED is required; Associate or Bachelor's in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the on-site processing, inventory and delivery of all orders.
• Assists with coordinating, managing, and evaluating supply chain personnel.
• Create a supportive environment for supply chain staff development and the delivery of supply chain solutions.
• Raise and resolve facility-based supply chain issues and improvement opportunities.
• Prepares schedule for the on-site operations.
• Attends in-service presentations, and completes mandatory education including infection control, patient safety, quality improvements, MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Demonstrates knowledge of occurrence reporting system and utilizes system to report potential patient safety issues.
• Process all lost charge reports and resolves discrepancies.
• Is authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices per core competencies of the position
