Job summary

Memorial Satilla Health is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Operations to oversee all hospital supply chain functions, including inventory, vendor relations, and expense management. You will integrate the department with hospital operations, develop policies, and drive staff education.

You will lead facility-wide supply chain activities, coordinate with OR leadership, and implement market-based purchasing and point-of-use systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required, in business/finance/logistics or healthcare focus.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Five years’ leadership experience and/or AD program graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all facility Supply Chain operations activities.
• Manage the profit and loss of the facility Supply Chain operations.
• Execute the infrastructure project plan for the facility, including standardization programs and online requisitioning.
• Facilitate market-based purchasing projects at the facility.
• Oversee all point-of-use system implementations and operation.
• Coordinate, manage, and evaluate facility Supply Chain personnel.
• Drive supply improvement initiatives (SII) to succeed within the facility.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians to standardize products and optimize supply utilization.
• Manage implementation plans, identify risks, and monitor resources for successful execution.
• Implement and track Supply Chain Performance Metrics and report to leadership.
• Lead and manage facility Supply Chain OR operations activities.
• Build relationships with OR leadership to align supply needs and processes.
• Collaborate with OR to optimize storage, replenishment, and restocking.
• Assist with Medical Information System data cleanup and best-practice item setup.
• Foster continuous improvement in supply chain OR processes.
• Collaborate on OR/Surgical Service initiatives with key stakeholders.
• Lead and manage Supply Chain Surgical Services staff where applicable.
