Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute in Simpsonville, SC, is seeking a Weekend Supervisor (RN) to oversee weekend clinical and operational activities, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. You will serve as the on-site clinical leader, supporting nursing staff, addressing resident needs, and ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Weekend shifts are Saturday-Sunday 7a–7p as a part-time role, requiring graduation from an accredited RN program

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
  • Active, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina.
  • Long-term care and rehabilitation experience required.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee weekend clinical and operational activities.
  • Serve as on-site clinical leader for weekend shifts.
  • Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care.
  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.
  • Assist with staffing coordination and coverage as needed.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
  • Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns professionally.
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Support facility quality initiatives and survey readiness efforts.

Position Summary

As a Weekend Supervisor (RN), you will oversee clinical and operational activities during weekend shifts, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. You will serve as the on-site clinical leader, supporting nursing staff, addressing resident needs, and ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff during weekend shifts
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care
  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and facility leadership
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff
  • Assist with staffing coordination and coverage as needed
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
  • Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns professionally and effectively
  • Participate in clinical problem-solving and emergency response as needed
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Support facility quality initiatives and survey readiness efforts
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program
  • Active, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina
  • Long-term care and rehabilitation experience required
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance

Licenses & Certifications
