Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Merchandiser to stock Coca-Cola beverages in retail accounts, ensuring all displays are filled and shelves rotated for quality.

Responsibilities include building displays, managing backroom inventory with FIFO, and communicating with store managers. Must be 18+, have a valid license and vehicle, and be able to work weekends with a 5 am start time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience in grocery, retail, warehouse, manual labor or related field.
• Must be 18 years old and legally eligible to work.
• Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours.
• Valid Driver's License and vehicle liability insurance with clean driving record.
• Experience using equipment like pallet jacks and high loader lifts preferred; certification may be required.
• Basic computer skills; comfortable using a smartphone or laptop.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays due to customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Stock beverages in retail accounts and ensure shelves, end caps, racks and displays are filled.
• Build, change, or remove product displays and maintain signage; keep space clean and secure damaged products.
• Manage backroom inventory, organize products, monitor levels, and report inventory with FIFO practices.
• Process damaged products, re-pack as needed, and rotate stock weekly between front-stock and back-stock.
• Communicate with account manager and store personnel; share recap pictures via Teams after servicing accounts.
• Maintain professional relationships with coworkers and customers.
