Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking Merchandisers to stock Coca-Cola beverages in retail accounts and ensure displays, end caps, and shelves are filled with freshest products.

Responsibilities include rotating products, managing backrooms, and coordinating with account managers. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience. The role requires driving a personal vehicle and working weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience in grocery, retail, warehouse, manual labor or related field is required.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
• Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours.
• Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance; driving record within policy guidelines.
• Experience using pallet jacks and high loader lifts; ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification upon hire.
• Basic computer skills; ability to operate a smartphone or laptop.
• Flexibility with work hours; able to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and replenish products in store shelves, racks, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage to the sales floor with a manual or powered equipment, ensuring product deliveries are fully worked.
• Build, change, or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintain product signage; clean product space and secure damaged or defective product.
• Manage backroom by organizing products, identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels in partnership with the account manager; utilize FIFO to ensure timely sales of product.
• Evaluate and process damaged product; re-pack product; organize backroom materials and weekly rotation of front-stock and back-stock; complete any required paperwork.
• Communicate and collaborate as needed upon completion of each account and at the end of the shift; communicate through Teams recap pictures for accounts after servicing; connect with sales on out of stock and customer concerns.
• Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
