Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Conover is seeking experienced Specialized Caregivers for weekend shifts providing high-quality non-medical care in clients' homes. You will support clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, mobility issues, hospice needs, and other higher-acuity conditions.

Role offers flexible weekend availability and opportunity for overtime. Compensation ranges from $15.50 to $21.00 per hour, based on experience, reliability, and level of care provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA, PCA, Home Health Aide, or equivalent caregiving experience welcomed.
• Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care.
• Support clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, and memory-related conditions.
• Provide safety supervision and fall prevention support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and gait belt use.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support hospice and end-of-life comfort care.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and office staff.
