Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Conover is seeking experienced Specialized Caregivers to provide high-quality non-medical care on weekend shifts, helping clients live safely and independently at home.

Ideal candidates have experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, mobility limits or hospice needs; reliable transportation and a background check are required. Pay ranges from $15.50 to $21.00 per hour, with benefits including flexible scheduling and overtime options.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care.
• Support clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, and memory-related conditions.
• Provide safety supervision and fall prevention support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and gait belt use.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support clients receiving hospice and end-of-life comfort care.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and office staff.
