Job summary

Perdue Farms Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate Lead for the weekend shift. You will supervise inbound and outbound shipments, ensure accurate receiving, staging, loading, and transport of products, and maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires forklift operation experience and relies on strong teamwork. A base pay of $19 per hour is offered with possible shift differentials, premiums, and an annual bonus, along with a comprehensive

Qualifications

At least 1 year of continuous work experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
Ability to pass forklift/pallet jack certification courses offered by Perdue.
Experience operating forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
Unload and load trucks, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
Ability to accurately document and track inventory.
Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are securely packed and labeled correctly.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
