Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar/restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
• Outstanding communication skills with customers and team members.
• Flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• High ethics, hard worker, and a great sense of humor.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage items and their preparation.
• Provide knowledge and hospitality to guests and teammates.
• Show up on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to work.
• Know the Death & Co compendium and navigate EverNote.
• Maintain knowledge of POS operation.
• Be able to cover any server or support position when needed.
• Understand service standards and Employee Manual.
• Comply with sanitation standards and regulations.
• Maintain guest satisfaction and relationships with regular guests and community members.
• Respond to patron needs with tact and courtesy.
• Identify intoxicated patrons and report concerns to management.
• Report guest complaints and follow company steps to resolve issues.
• Stay up to date on Slack channels relevant to shift prep and updates.
• Maintain timely Slack responses.
• Arrive with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ask for help when needed.
