Job summary

Monti Inc is seeking a Punch Press Operator to configure and operate electrically powered presses to punch holes in metals. You will load materials, calibrate gauge settings, and ensure tooling is ready for production.

Responsibilities include changing tooling between runs, maintaining safety and 6S standards, and coordinating with maintenance. High school diploma and at least two years related experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years related experience required.

• Maintains equipment by following the manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for maintenance.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic math skills (ex. addition, subtraction, multiplication).
• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanical inclination.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years related experience required

Physical Requirements

• Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, mobile equipment, and walking surfaces strewn with materials, power cords and tools is typical.
• Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.,
• Any combination of standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling and walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to work up to 8-10 hour shifts and overtime as required by the work.
• Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time.
• Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of surrounding area
