Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is seeking a Weekend Shift Production Supervisor to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, develop people, and drive continuous improvement. Hours are Friday–Sunday, 5am–5:30pm, with safety as a top priority.

The role leads production teammates, enforces policies, coordinates schedules, and drives quality and operational excellence to reduce waste and improve performance across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, drawings, and work orders.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Ability to prioritize work, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.

We’re looking for a Weekend Shift Production Supervisor who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, develops people, and is energized by solving problems and driving continuous improvement. Hours are Friday‑Sunday, 5am‑5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership
  • Champion a culture where safety is everyone’s responsibility.
  • Train, coach, and hold team members accountable to safe work practices.
  • Participate as an active member of the Emergency Response Team and/or Safety Committee.
  • Develop and improve standardized work that enhances workplace safety.
• People & Build Teams
  • Lead, coach, and develop production teammates to achieve individual and team success.
  • Foster an environment built on accountability, respect, and continuous learning.
  • Train and enforce company policies and standardized work.
  • Motivate employees while helping remove obstacles to success.
  • Serve as the primary trainer for Level 4 Board development.
  • Partner with employees to solve problems and continuously improve processes.
• Quality
  • Ensure products consistently meet Life Fitness / Hammer Strength quality standards.
  • Verify product conformance through inspections and process verification.
  • Drive standardized work that improves product quality and consistency.
  • Work proactively to identify and resolve quality concerns before they impact the customer.
• Operational Excellence
  • Coordinate production schedules and collaborate with supervisors across multiple shifts.
  • Plan, requisition, and verify materials needed to support production.
  • Monitor workflow to maximize productivity and schedule adherence.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives that reduce waste and improve performance.
  • Develop and maintain standardized production methods that improve efficiency and reduce cost.
• Roll Up Your Sleeves
  • Support the production team by performing production activities when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2‑5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.

• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, drawings, and work orders.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range for U.S. applicants: $62,300 – $86,000 annually.
• Eligibility to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength’s Production Bonus Plan.
