Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is seeking a Weekend Shift Paint Line Loader/Unloader to support powder coat operations. You will prepare parts for painting, inspect finished items, and move materials through production, with a base wage of $20.00 to $22.75 per hour plus overtime eligibility.

The role offers a three‑day weekend schedule (Fri–Sun), the chance to work only 36 hours for 40 paid, and access to on‑site fitness and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing and speaking).

Responsibilities

• Load weldments onto the paint line according to hang patterns.
• Unload painted parts, inspect quality, and remove masking materials and plugs.
• Stage, organize, wrap, box, and prepare finished parts for the next production step.
• Inspect parts to identify quality concerns and document reorders when needed.
• Perform Oracle inventory transactions and complete required production paperwork.
• Maintain hooks, racks and production materials to keep the paint line running.
• Safely operate hoists and other material-handling equipment.
• Report equipment issues, supply needs and quality concerns to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment and support other production activities.

Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength as a Paint Line Loader/Unloader on our weekend shift. You'll play a key role in keeping our powder coat operation running efficiently by preparing parts for painting, inspecting finished products, and ensuring materials move safely through the production process. This full‑time position offers a base wage of $20.00 to $22.75 per hour (depending on experience) plus overtime eligibility after only 36 hours worked in a week.

Shift: Weekend Shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM)

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:

• Load weldments onto the paint line according to established hang patterns.

What We're Looking For

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Push and pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, twist, reach overhead, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Safely operate hoists, sanders, grinders, and other production equipment.

Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
