Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. is seeking a Press Operator in McKinney, TX to operate a progressive stamping press, uphold safety and quality standards, and meet LEAN production goals. Weekend shifts run Fri–Sun 6:00 AM–6:30 PM with a $2.50/hour differential.

You will perform inspections, handle materials, and assist with setup and changeovers. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one month of related experience, and the ability to read drawings and measure precisely using

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 month of related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Ability to prioritize safety and operate pallet jack.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping presses to support department and company goals.
• Perform quality inspections per procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Count, package and palletize finished product per work orders.
• Handle materials and assist with press set-ups and changeovers.
• Communicate issues and improvements to department leadership.
