Job summary

Transit Team, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN is hiring to operate Metro Mobility vehicles and provide excellent customer service to passengers.

Shifts are available with a focus on safety and reliability. We offer paid training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team environment in the Twin Cities metro area.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Minnesota driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Safe and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to pass a background check and 5-panel drug screen.
• Ability to complete and pass a DOT physical.
• Familiarity with the Twin Cities metro area preferred.
• Ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position, including walking, bending, sitting, standing, and assisting passengers as needed.
• No CDL? No Problem! We provide paid training to help you become a successful member of our team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Metro Mobility vehicle
• Provide outstanding customer service to passengers
• Assist riders entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
• Secure mobility devices and wheelchairs safely
• Follow assigned routes and schedules
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all passengers
