Job summary

Transit Team, Inc. in Burnsville, MN is hiring a driver to operate Metro Mobility vehicles, serve passengers, assist with boarding, and ensure safety on routes. You’ll follow schedules and conduct pre-trip inspections, delivering reliable, courteous service to the Twin Cities community.

Starting wage is 24.00 per hour with paid training, holidays, PTO, health/dental/vision and retirement benefits. The role requires a Minnesota license, clean driving record, ability to pass background checks and

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid Minnesota driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to pass a background check and 5-panel drug screen
• Ability to complete and pass a DOT physical
• Familiarity with the Twin Cities metro area preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Metro Mobility vehicle
• Provide outstanding customer service to passengers
• Assist riders entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
• Secure mobility devices and wheelchairs safely
• Follow assigned routes and schedules
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
