City of Lincoln in Columbia, MO seeks part-time staff to oversee a Transitional Shelter Facility for Veterans. The role covers 3 pm–11 pm Saturday and Sunday shifts with potential coverage on other days for morning, afternoon, or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities include front desk coverage, resident support, meal assistance, security checks, incident documentation, and participation in staff meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable / Dependable; good communication skills.
• Typing and data entry experience; familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Acts as manager of the facility when supervisory staff are absent.
• Maintains confidentiality of all residents.
• Maintains front desk and reception coverage including phone coverage.
• Assist residents, the public, and volunteers as needed including hosting KP Duty Volunteers.
• Assist with meal preparation, food distribution, and kitchen clean-up as needed.
• Monitors and documents resident traffic and enforces rules and Code of Conduct.
• Intervenes when necessary and documents incidents for staff and supervisors.
• Documents incidents as instructed.
• Conducts regular security checks and walk-throughs of the property.
• Performs light cleaning and janitorial tasks to maintain a safe facility.
• Participates in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Collects data as directed by funders and the agency.
• Assists with resident intake and discharge as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
