Job summary

Priority StaffCorp is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee weekend production in a busy sheet metal operation. This hands‑on leadership role requires making on‑floor decisions, guiding a team, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in fabrication, strong knowledge of laser cutting, press brakes, welding and robotic welding, and familiarity with ERP and payroll systems.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in a sheet metal environment.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and safety practices.
• Familiarity with ERP and warehouse systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct weekend production activities and coordinate daily assignments.
• Lead and support employees throughout the production shift.
• Monitor workflow and adjust to keep production on schedule.
• Provide hands‑on support when challenges arise.
• Enforce safety procedures and quality expectations.
• Track performance, attendance, productivity, and safety.
• Coach and train team members; cross‑training when needed.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
• Encourage teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with maintenance and scheduling to minimize downtime.
• Communicate updates and concerns to management.
• Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
