Job summary

Century Park Associates is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant/Care Aide for weekend shifts to deliver quality assisted living services. You will support residents with daily activities, read logs, and assist with meals within a resident-centered environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent), CPR certification, and CNA/Home Health Aide credentials if required by state. Prior senior services experience is preferred and compassion is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in senior services preferred.
• State Trained Nursing Assistant certification (if required by State).
• CNA certification or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during Orientation; certification must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living as designated in care plan (dressing, toileting, hair care, bathing).
• Reads 24 hour log at beginning of shift.
• Makes routine rounds and checks with residents to ensure care needs are met.
• Assists residents with clothing choices appropriate for the day’s weather, clean and stain free.
• Assists with incontinent residents, keeping clothing and linens clean and dry.
• Assists resident with ambulation and use of walkers, canes, wheelchairs, etc.
