Century Park Associates seeks compassionate Resident Assistant/Care Aide to support seniors in our community. Part-time and PRN shifts available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in senior services preferred.
• State-required STNA certification where applicable.
• CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
• CPR certification required at hire or during Orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Read 24-hour log at the start of shift.
• Make rounds and check resident care needs.
• Assist with clothing choices and daily weather-appropriate attire.
• Assist incontinent residents and keep clothing/linens clean and dry.
• Help residents with ambulation using walkers or canes.
• Assist during meals and encourage activity participation.
• Shampoo hair weekly unless done by beautician.
• Make beds and perform light housekeeping in apartments and common areas.
• Prepare residents for activities, meals, appointments, etc.
• Deliver meals or assist with setup/feeding as needed.
• Verify residents are present for meals and follow up as needed.
• Report changes in resident conditions to nurse or director.
• Welcome new residents and assist with adjustment.
• Assist with packing/unpacking and inventory belongings at move-in.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines.
