Job summary

BrightonOne is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for weekend shifts on the Brighton, MA campus. The role covers 7:30am-4:00pm or 3:30pm-12am, onsite across a nine-acre facility with multiple buildings and housing units.

You will provide professional security and customer service for residents, tenants, and visitors. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and First-Aid/CPR/AED certification, with physical ability to patrol and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to patrol campus, respond to safety concerns, and enforce rules.
• Customer service orientation for interactions with residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Patrols buildings and grounds to ensure safety and security.
• Maintain logs of daily activities, incidents, and discrepancies.
• Address violators and enforce building policies and access controls.
• Identify hazards (fire, leaks, spills) and report findings to management.
• Manage parking and direct traffic; operate security booth and CCTV systems.
