Job summary

Signal of New England is seeking a reliable Security Officer for the Brighton location. This part-time role focuses on outdoor patrols, monitoring the parking lot, deterring unauthorized entry, and supervising contractor access after hours.

The position runs Friday and Saturday, 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM, with opportunities for additional shifts. The ideal candidate has at least one year of security experience and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security experience, especially in access control or screening.
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain on foot for extended periods and conduct frequent patrols.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to intake information quickly and report incidents clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot patrols around the interior/exterior of the property
• Maintain visibility in the building and parking lot to deter suspicious or unwanted activity
• Ensure no unauthorized individuals enter the building during off-hours
• Monitor and log the entry/exit of contractors during active work periods
• Provide accurate, timely incident reports and updates as needed
• Maintain communication with supervisors and other personnel as required

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

This role primarily involves outdoor, exterior foot patrol duties, including monitoring parking lot activity, deterring unauthorized building entry during off-hours, and overseeing contractor access to the property.

• Ensure no unauthorized individuals enter the building during off-hours
