Job summary

AdventHealth South Overland Park is seeking a Weekend Security Officer to support a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff. You will patrol, assist with access control, and respond to incidents during Saturday and Sunday shifts from 7am to 7pm.

The role emphasizes vigilance, teamwork and adherence to safety protocols in a faith-based health care setting. High school diploma and driver's license required; 40-hour training and Hazmat certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a driver's license with clean record.
• 40-hour Security Officer training and Hazmat training preferred.
• Ability to read and write clearly for reports and policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for patients, visitors and team members.
• Identify and report suspicious activity or emergencies.
• Assist with access control and monitor designated areas.
