Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for an Investment Company in Boston, MA. The role involves unarmed security duties, patrolling, access control, and delivering excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

The position offers paid orientation and training, with weekend daytime shifts on Saturday and Sunday 7 AM to 3 PM, at a pay rate of $23.00 per hour. This is a great entry point to join a leading security services team in a premier location.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, access-control issues, and other security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
