Securitas Security in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a Professional Security Officer for full-time work at $21.00 per hour. Weekend availability is required, with strong training and advancement support from a dedicated Region and Area Management team.

You will perform access control, patrols, incident reporting, and teamwork to protect client assets. Prior security or military experience is preferred; candidates must be 18+, with basic education, and willing to undergo pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience required.
• Able to interact with a wide range of individuals calmly and professionally.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team to achieve site goals.
