Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Professional Security Officer for a full-time, weekend schedule in Crystal Lake, IL. You will provide customer-focused security, manage access control, and patrol the client site to deter threats and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience required.
• Interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Great attention to detail and ability to remain alert during shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid judgment and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team to achieve site goals.
• Carry out tasks and duties of similar nature as required for assigned site.
