Job summary

Tumwater School District is seeking a Substitute Custodian for the weekend shift at various locations. The position offers a rate of pay of $23.30 per hour and is a continuing, open-until-filled role with benefits information available to applicants.

Responsibilities include cleaning, janitorial tasks, and assisting with events as needed, under supervision of the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds. Must have custodial experience and preferred high school diploma, plus background clearance.

Qualifications

• Custodial or janitorial work experience.
• High school graduate, preferred.
• State/FBI background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule work crew to maintain buildings in a clean, warm, attractive and functional order.
• Operate and care for custodial tools and equipment.
• Assist with events and deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Observe security of buildings, report deficiencies.
