Job summary

Avride is hiring a motivated entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant to support the deployment of autonomous delivery robots. In this part-time weekend role, you will assist with daily operations, maintenance, and preparations of our robot fleet across campuses.

Shifts cover Saturdays and Sundays, typically around 8 hours per day for a total of about 16 hours each weekend. The position is employed through our staffing partner with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in varied field environments.
• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
• Team-oriented mindset with communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for the shift: Ensure hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.
• Put robots/batteries on chargers for the night: Manage power cycles to keep fleet ready.
• Clean robots: Maintain appearance and protect external hardware.
• Perform mechanical repairs: Assist with basic repairs on the robot fleet.
• Perform service campaigns: Help implement hardware or software updates across the fleet.
• Assist remote support coordinators: Act as hands-on field contact for the remote tracking team.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment: Ensure sensors and chassis components are tuned for safe navigation.
• Keep workshop clean and tidy: Maintain a safe, organized workspace for the technical team.
