Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland is seeking an RN for the Weekender Flex Surgical Float Pool. The role involves working two 12-hour weekend shifts and one 12-hour weekday shift, with pay for 44 hours and a full-time status and benefits package.

You will provide professional nursing care in operative settings, perform scrub and circulating duties, assist surgeons, and ensure patient comfort throughout the surgical journey.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• One year RN experience or perioperative residency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting for adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform scrub functions, including instrument handling.
• Perform circulating functions: monitor and communicate patient condition.
• Assist surgeon with hemostasis, suturing, exposure, and patient positioning.
• Prepare OR and equipment for use.
