Job summary

Birchwood Park Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an RN Weekend Supervisor to lead nursing staff during the 7A-3P shift. You will supervise nursing assistants, coordinate with the healthcare team, and ensure care plans meet federal, state, and local standards to maintain high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include medication administration, staff education, and discharge planning, with emphasis on patient-centered care and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license.
• First aid/CPR certification.
• BLS certification and ongoing training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and nursing assistants to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and document administration per policy.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
• Oversee discharge planning and coordination with ancillary services.
