Job summary

Touchstone Communities is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead clinical teams at the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville, TX. This Weekend Supervisor role focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality care to Veterans while guiding LVNs, CNAs, and other staff.

As a senior nurse on weekend shifts, you will ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold Touchstone's standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (or compact license).
• Minimum of two years in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to resident advocacy and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality resident-centered care in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate resident conditions, responding promptly to clinical concerns and changes in condition.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for LVNs, CNAs, and other clinical team members.
• Promote a positive and collaborative work environment that supports engagement, retention, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident wellbeing and positive clinical outcomes.
• Assist with staffing coordination, clinical oversight, and shift operations.
• Support compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Foster meaningful connections with residents, families, and fellow team members through the Touchstone Experience.
