Touchstone Communities' Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville, TX is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead nursing teams on weekend shifts, mentor staff, and ensure residents receive compassionate, compliant care that honors our Veterans.

As a Weekend Supervisor, you will uphold quality outcomes, coordinate staffing, and partner with interdisciplinary teams to foster Touchstone Experience values of compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence for every resident.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Texas RN license or Compact State RN license.
• Minimum of two (2) years of long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality resident-centered care in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate resident conditions, responding promptly to clinical concerns and changes in condition.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for LVNs, CNAs, and other clinical team members.
• Promote a positive and collaborative work environment that supports engagement, retention, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident wellbeing and positive clinical outcomes.
• Assist with staffing coordination, clinical oversight, and shift operations.
• Support compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Foster meaningful connections with residents, families, and fellow team members through the Touchstone Experience.
