Job summary

Gateway Post Acute is seeking an experienced Weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations on the weekend shift. You will supervise staff, conduct rounds, administer medications, and collaborate with the DON to ensure high-quality resident care.

This role supports the clinical leadership team with staffing, quality assurance, and compliance, while promoting teamwork, communication, and compassionate care for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current California Registered Nurse license required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Two or more years of nursing experience preferred, ideally in a skilled nursing or long‑term‑care facility.
• Previous supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PointClickCare or another electronic health record system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate resident care throughout the assigned shift.
• Provide direction, education, and support to LVNs, treatment nurses, CNAs, and other nursing employees.
• Conduct clinical rounds and ensure timely responses to residents' needs and call signals.
• Complete skilled nursing assessments and monitor changes in residents' conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy in accordance with physician orders and facility procedures.
