Alaris Health at Hamilton Par in Jersey City, NJ seeks a resident RN supervisor to direct and coordinate all nursing units. The role requires advanced training and broad nursing experience, including supervisory duties.

Responsibilities include staffing, rounds, care-plan adherence, medication passes, staff training, emergencies, safety, and quality improvement. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with NJ RN registration is required, plus long-term care supervisory experience.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registration with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• Experience in the nursing field and supervisory roles in long-term care.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, and patient care practices.

Responsabilidades

• Staff shifts appropriately based on resident levels and needs.
• Collaborate daily with charge nurses for coordination.
• Conduct morning and nightly rounds to assess resident condition, with emphasis on critically ill residents.
• Ensure each resident’s nursing care plan is understood and followed.
• Perform medication passes and direct resident care as needed.
• Orient, train, and refresh nursing staff to develop skills.
• Respond to emergencies throughout the shift.
• Enforce safety protocols and review incidents and investigations for accuracy.
• Contribute to developing and implementing the center’s quality improvement program.
• Provide compassionate care prioritizing residents' needs and rights.
