Job summary

Northern Lights is seeking an RN Weekend Supervisor to lead our skilled nursing team in Wisconsin. You will supervise day-to-day clinical operations, mentor CNAs and nurses, and ensure person-centered, high-quality care for residents.

This role emphasizes leadership, compliance with regulations, participation in care conferences and QA, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams. Weekend hours preferred with a warm, supportive team and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment required
• CPR certification required; leadership or specialty certifications are a plus
• Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care environment required
• Strong knowledge of nursing best practices, regulations, and care planning
• Excellent leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and respond quickly to emergencies

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care
• Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, CNAs, and caregivers
• Coordinate care services, staffing assignments, and clinical processes to support resident needs
• Monitor resident conditions, care plans, and documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Participate in care conferences, audits, and QA meetings to support continuous improvement
• Serve as a liaison with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure collaborative, holistic care
• Foster a culture of respect, accountability, and teamwork
• Help with onboarding and training new nurses and support staff
